It is labled bean picke?. What can you tell me about the age or use?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13729569.post-1159279870106002742006-09-26T10:11:00.000-04:002006-09-26T10:11:00.000-04:00Even large parcels of 100+ acres are asking $10,00...Even large parcels of 100+ acres are asking $10,000 per acre here. In our church we have 6-7 families looking for land on which to move towards an agrarian lifestyle, however we are having to look towards other areas to find affordable land that is still accessible to markets. It would be interesting to hear suggestions from other folks about affordable areas. We are in south-central Pennsylvania on th I-81 corridor.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13729569.post-1159139708014322972006-09-24T19:15:00.000-04:002006-09-24T19:15:00.000-04:00I did the same thing with my packet of black turtl...I did the same thing with my packet of black turtle beans and jacob's cattle beans this year. I ended up with what looks like the equivalent to 4-5 packets of each kind. I am very pleased with the results.

I don't plan to accumulate more seed. I think I am all set for my own family now. Will grow these for a harvest next year. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13729569.post-1159134048533966252006-09-24T17:40:00.000-04:002006-09-24T17:40:00.000-04:00In our neighborhood (Central Florida homes like ou...In our neighborhood (Central Florida homes like our on half acre lots that you can't have even chickens on run 4 times that amount! We bought at a much lower price. We could have that land a chunk of change to get started with and be debt free! ....If only we were free to go.... God has us here for now for some other purposes, but I will pass this information on to a friend who is looking for a farm.

ShawnaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13729569.post-1159095232960692592006-09-24T06:53:00.000-04:002006-09-24T06:53:00.000-04:00Herrick, Just a quick note on land prices. It's starting to slow down bigtime here. Some land just had to be let go for almost the price in your area. It seems like half the suburban type homes have for sale signs posted by them. Folks are playing musical homes, trying to sell them and play with the massive debts that they've aquired. As far as homes go, they've really hit the skids here. Hundreds of them that aren't selling. It will be interesting as the time approaches to pay the fiddler.Tom Scepaniakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14241167233774855980noreply@blogger.com
