Long-time readers of this blog may recall that I Reviewed Jane Bryan's Excellent Thy Hand Hath Provided Cookbook here last July. And I had the first and only book-give-away contest I've ever had. One person was a cookbook winner with that contest, but today (and today only) everyone who reads this can be a winner. That's because Jane's cookbook is now available in e-Book format at Amazon, and she is making the book available for only 99¢ (today only), which is practically free. No, I'm not kidding. No strings attached. 99¢. Today only. You (and everyone you tell about this amazing opportunity) can download a copy of this great cookbook today (only) for 99¢.
Jane says the book can be purchased for 99¢ only today. The price will go up incrementally through the week until it is $4.99 on Saturday, and then jump to it's regular retail e-Book price of $9.99 on Sunday (hold-in-your-hand copies sell for $19.95). Here is the Amazon link to get your 99¢ copy today (or an inexpensive copy through the rest of this week): Thy Hand Hath Provided E-Book at Amazon
P.S. Click Here to go to Jane's blog and read about many of her recipes, including her recipe for grape pie. If you have never experienced grape pie, you are missing out on something really special.

Huge apologies to your readers, Herrick! The schedule did not begin as planned with a FREE day. Instead , it started off at .99. I thank you so much for helping to spread the word and apologize profusely for the confusion. Hopefully, some of your readers will still check it out:-).
ReplyDeleteHi Jane,
ReplyDeleteSorry your book launch didn't come together the way you planned. But 99-cents is pretty much free. I'll change the post to to reflect the difference.
Best wishes,
Herrick
All logged in and ready to buy it when I realized I cant... I don't have a Kindle. Bummer, I thought I could get it as a PDF.
ReplyDeleteClinton,
ReplyDeleteBummer. I'll let you know if a pdf version comes out.
I should point out, though, that you don't need a Kindle to read any Kindle book. Amazon has a download that will allow you to read Kindle books on your computer. It's a free download.
Herrick - I can't tell you how many books I've purchased based on your reviews and recommendations as I've lost count. I remember when you reviewed this book and thought (note to self) buy this one. I had forgotten about it until now, so thanks for reminding me. I grabbed the Kindle version just now.(You Can Call Me Jane - Herrick's right, 99 cents is pretty much free when it comes to books.)
ReplyDeleteClinton - don't let not having a Kindle stop you. There are Kindle reading apps available free for a variety of devices (phones and tablets) as well as your computer. There's even a browser app so you can read it right in your browser. You're going to need one when Herrick's new book comes out, anyway ;-)
