I cut and used a 55 gallon plastic barrel for the blade. I made a second one the next year with a strip of metal for the plowing edge as the plastic wore away too quickly on concrete. The the plowing angle on the second plow was also adjustable from the seat. I also made chains for the rear wheels in order to increase traction. It was great fun, and I looked forward to when it snowed.
