Acknowledging God
in His Creation

Dateline: 30 July 2013

"It's like I'm standing next to a statue of God's amazing grace."

The man in the picture above is Johann van der Ham, head of the Foundations for Farming ministry in Malawi, which is a small country in southeastern Africa. His 2-minute soliloquy about that sunflower he is standing next to is absolutely beautiful. If you worship the God of Creation, as I do, I'm sure you will be blessed by Mr. van der Ham's words and insights, especially his final comment.

This reminds me of "Back to Eden".
Are you familiar with it? If not you can watch the movie at www.backtoedenfilm.com. It's inspiring, encouraging AND you feel as though you've been to church after watching it. I think it's exciting to see these men giving glory to God. That's what it's all about after all. Thanks for sharing the link...I'll be passing it on.Deb

This sunflower is truly amazing! I’ve never seen such huge leaves! I used to grow sunflowers, but they were 2-3 times smaller than this one, but again, our country is no Africa.. Now I have a few corn plants (just trying this thing http://www.askwiki.net/How-to-Grow-Corn), that are still small. I wonder if I ever can have such a success in this field! Thank you for this post (and for the youtube link, too), it really impressed me. Wow.
