My past review of Jean-Martin Fortier's new book, The Market Gardener (see Farming 1.5 Acres and Making a Good Living), created a lot of interest among readers of this blog, and well it should. Jean-Martin's market garden in Quebec, Canada, is operated by him and his wife, and two paid employees. The micro-farm generated $140,000 in 2013 and $65,000 of that was profit.
